After years of urging from my friends I finally checked out CrossFit in February of 2013. I didn’t know what to make of it at first, but I did know one thing…It kicked my but so hard that I was embarrassed and rushed out of there my first day so I could cough my lungs out in private after my 6 1/2 minute workout! Quickly I fell in love with the intense and varied workouts that I was being coached through along side an awesome group of people. I found myself looking up more information on CrossFit and Olympic lifts because I wanted to get better. It affected my whole life. My outlook became more positive, my confidence grew immensely, which helped me become a better person over all. Now I am the fittest I have ever been, and now my wish is that I could go back in time and face my 17 year old self on the football field to see how quickly that youngster would tire out before this 38 year old man.
